The Pizza Joint - Columbia

Went for dinner and saw they were offering a service industry discount during the pandemic but when i asked to receive the service industry discount (as a “essential” service industry worker) and they told me they would not give it to me because the waitress and manager didn’t personally believe that manual laborers, movers, roofer, painters, etc. deserve the “service industry” discount. i will not be back and i’m glad this place is closed.

This place is closed right now as they had a fire recently and I hope they are trying to rebuild! My go-to pizza place. They have full pizzas and by the slice I believe. They have good calzones, strombolis, create your own and specialty pizzas, a full array of apps (the garlic knots are delicious), salads, hoagies and sandwiches, and soup too! I enjoy the meatball calzone. Service is pretty good too. I'm hoping they reopen soon from the fire!

Sadly, the customer service here will prevent us from returning. My boyfriend and I LOVE the pizza here, yet when he went to go pick up his to-go/call-in order, he was rushed and brushed off. The lady couldn 't even hand the pizza to him, and then walked away with an insincere have a nice day . It 's unfortunate because their pizza is tasty, but not worth common courtesy.

My favorite pizza place EVER! Currently pregnant and all I’m craving is their garlic knots. Praying they open soon!! We miss you PJ!

Excellent food, large selection of draft beers, friendly staff and nice outside seating.
