Bidra med feedbackSome of the consistently good baked goods I had. Nothing too sweet or something, it seems a really good balance of flavors in most of their articles. The Tres Leche cake is great and the croissants are some of the best in town. They also have carbonates that really are my favorite thing there, flaky and filled with a vanilla cream. You also have a selection of cold Mexican drinks that are always welcome. And the prices are surprisingly favorable at least for the value I feel. The staff is very nice and per tip, you serve yourself, use the pliers and tablet to select what you want and go to the counter to pay. It was my first time intimidating, but it's my favorite Mexican bakery.
I stopped in a mood on a Saturday afternoon and was really thrilled. They had a wide range of sweet and simply baked treats along with the very traditional basics such as Conchas. I was surprised to discover everything in the serving itself cabinets was absolutely fresh despite the strange time of the day, I was also very happy with how CLEAN was all, and you have an open view directly into the actual kitchen area and it was also bright and clean. Sometimes these little bakeries can be a little dingy, but this gleamed. The staff was all friendly without being intrusive while I chose my tablet selection. So far everything my BF and I tried was absolutely delicious. The breads were melted in the mouth, and the sweet items were delicious without too sweet, which is often a problem with Mexican treats is BF saying that the Churros were the best he left for Chicago 10 years ago. If you wish delicious simple bakery with the good taste of home cooking, I recommend this little bakery. We will return safely there!
Clean, friendly place with many delicious choices. For something that is not sweet, try the croissants or the little pigs (Gießbrot). For something sweet, the rosin and cream cheeses are an art piece.
Pretty good! Have a few cheese filled breads that were raw or baked. But the Crescants r soooo good here could eat them all day!
