Bidra med feedbackThe good, the bad, and the ugly! Good our server, Sam, was on top of everything without being hovering. Over easy eggs done very well l. pancakes are plate cleaning good! Bad, actually not much. But the ugly was the chicken fried steak. Look at the photos! Not a bit of fried chicken crust. Tasted like burned flour, Forgot to dip in eggs and into breadcrumbs or batter. No fry just flat top griddle.
Original server (Kristy, I believe) was very awkward and forgot we were waiting to place an order. From time seated to food arriving was right at one hour. Some food was edible, some was not. Trout was OK, sirloin steak was good, BLT was not good, potatoes were a joke (overcooked and without the growth sprouts removed), and the broccoli was a disgusting gray color. Older female server tried to take over and was very polite. Stay away.
Typical small town diner, good food and good service. Onion rings were really good!

8/2 0/24 4:15 PM. The Back Room. The atmosphere was good. Service was polite. We ordered the ribs and chicken. My wife and I shared. I thought the ribs were about average for the ribs I have eaten across the country. Certainly not the best, but probably not the worst. Just average or a little below. The chicken was among the best I have had, but it was very expensive. Fifteen dollars for two legs and two thighs plus small portions of a couple of sides. Not worth the cost. Very poor value. The bread was good. But beware about the butter in the container. It has some honey, but it also is mixed with margarine. Not good. And there is no warning. I talked with the young man loading the small plastic containers. Stick with the pure butter pats. They are taken to the table hard from the icebox. I put mine in my pocket to soften it. That is not good. Butter should be presented at room temperature. Given the mediocre ribs and the high cost of the chicken, I will probably not be back. But if cost is no object, that chicken is among the best I have had anywhere.
