Bidra med feedbackThis is one of our favorite places in town. However, the last time we went, our server was awful. She had a really bad attitude and made you feel like an inconvenience for anything that you asked her. However, as always, my Pollo con crema was absolutely delicious. I also highly recommend their guacamole.
In my opinion, this place had the best sangria in all of Colorado Springs. The food is great, the service is great and the atmosphere is great. Overall, absolutely love this place.
Awful, terrible, unacceptable and quite frankly rude.My partner and I walked in at 8pm on a Monday night, a full hour before y’all closed and after being led to a table and getting chips and salsa we sat for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment nor introduction by our waiter. We have no idea who was supposed to serve us but I certainly wish I did because I would have no problem calling them out by name here.Seems like if you go to this location anytime within an hour before close everyone is simply too busy with their own tips to bother doing their actual job, and you will certainly feel unwelcome and unwanted by every member on the staff.Sorry to sound like a boomer but if you don’t want to do the job, don’t. This place has completely fallen short of the most low level expectations, I doubt we’ll ever be back and will be sure NOT to recommend this chain to anyone.Edit: called this location and asked to speak to the manager. The first time we called we were told there was no manager on duty. So we called again and asked how they were going to handle any cash drops or deposits without a manager and were told, “uhhh, I guess someone will be in?” And that was as clear as it got.Needless to say if you value your financial security DO NOT go to any of this chain’s locations. The employees are inept, unhelpful and unfriendly. The management is nonexistent and quite frankly even the chips and salsa we were served was barely palatable, but I suppose based on Vaqueros’ standards it was *top notch*!
This was my favorite restaurant in Montana. When we moved here I found Colorado had a location we had to try it out. Of course, it did not disappoint. We’ve been here a few times and the food service is always great. One of my favorites!!!
It was my first time this past Sunday @Vaqueros Mexican R T. The crowd didn 't begin arriving to fill up the place quickly until 12N. My friends I were there about 11A and were warmly greeted and were immediately showed a booth upon. The way seating is created, they have various sections of different heights of booths laid out some on the floor, some higher a nice variety of seating variations. It 's a huge dining room, but because of the way tables are grouped into smaller sections, it feels more comfortable... definitely not like open cafeteria seating! The Mexican decor is pleasant to look at, interesting, and adds to the delightful atmosphere. The large windows and lots of them! offer great views of the front range AND definitely Pikes Peak. The building is quite higher that the service road and Powers/aka Route 21 down below. There is plenty of parking around the building and a lot of handicap spots near the front entry.Food: I have very specific food concerns and our waitress was able to help me choose from their menu and even change some of the items from their dinner platters which I very much appreciated. Our server...she was patient, gracious, and keen to listen to what my special dietary needs were and then help me choose appropriately from their menu. Our food was delivered to our table hot and ready for prompt consumption...which was very much appreciated! My dinner no beverage, no taco chips with tax, came to $17. However I was unable to eat 3/4 of the HUGE plate of food... I mean HUGE! So I got their doggy box to take leftovers of 2+ servings for the next day!No room for dessert, but perhaps next time...IF I 'm allowed w/my special dietary needs. I never even looked at the desserts! My girlfriends and I will be back...for sure...and possibly soon!So KUDOS to Vaqueros Mexican R T!
