Bidra med feedbackOverall I like fatters better than panera bakery. the prices are somewhat lower, the portions are larger, and there are more choices on brot. my favorite salad is the truthahn cranberry sunflower seed. the most amazing is that the truthahn, although not hot from the one, is about the freshest I had in restaurantsalate. their salads are made fresh while they wait. that may be frustrating for some people, but I'm glad they don't all sit somewhere in a cooler. the southwest is a good salate, like the huhn del mondo. I'm not a fan of her cookies because they are too doughy for me. but if you want to, you will like them. I like their bars, especially the peanut butter double deckers. the brownies are also delicious! I suspect that the eclairs would be tasty if they got them on the day they were made. but they seem to store them or maybe they just keep them in the case for so long.
Nice selection of sandwiches. Just had the club and the bread was sooo fresh! It was very good and I was able to only eat half at the restaurant. The second half will be my dinner. Thank you. I will return to sample some of your other items.
Love there salads even so the portions change every time we come ? now they ask for a tip as well? for what because you take my order, I can do that myself like Panera Bread does
A friend and I stop in for a light dinner one night, while staying at the hotel across the parking lot. Neither of us was super hungry, so we each bought a 1/2 sandwich. Delicious. The bread was so fresh. As were the other ingredients. I was flying home the next day and wished I could have taken some fresh bread with me, but there was no room in my carry on. I did take a couple of sugar cookies. They were delicious, as well.
The cafe has a welcoming entrance leading up to the ordering counter. The displaying of their bakeries and desserts is very eye-satisfying. The cafe's ambience, architecture layout, decorations, large windows and seating deserve kudos. These are no doubt a major upgrade from your regular breakfast from a fast food restaurant.Then it came the part of people and food factor. The staff appeared busy with either their next tasks or distracted with something. I worked in a service industry before and well aware that the lack of training and high staff turnover is a constant challenge in food industry. But there are quick tricks that all customers would appreciate, smiley and friendly staff that keep eye contact with customers.I ordered a croissant sandwich, a piece of baguette and a regular coffee. I think the croissant was lacking the puff and layering effect, the use of fried egg instead of the fluffy and visual color of scramble egg made the supposedly catchy, playful puff pastry a little depressing. However, it was flavorful and delicious. The coffee was not warm enough possibly after staying sometime in the urn? Maybe it was one of those days.
