Bidra med feedbackFantastic place to have something when in a hurry. Your service is fast, price is fair, good mood. I highly recommend this point.
This is authentic, freshly cooked Northern Indian (near New Delhi) food. Decoration is sparse. There are tables with table cloths and booths, and a tired looking carpet. It 's tucked away in a strip mall and parking is convenient, I was chatting with an older Indian couple and they said that it was the best Indian they had found in The Springs. Best Indian food awards from previous years line the wall. And the food was OK. The Saturday brunch (around $10) had both vegan and meat entrees. The tandoori chicken was moist, the mango pudding yummy. It wasn 't busy on the Saturday before Mothers Day. But the buffet area was a mess. Spilled food all around the dishes. I noticed that Raj was the only staff besides the people in the kitchen. He cheerfully greeted, sat you and took your payment, tried to keep the food area stocked but they could have used someone to bus the tables and keep the buffet area clean. I 'd return for a weekday lunch with workmates hankering for a change from Mexican or fast food but not with a date..
The wife and I went for dinner the other night. They were great with service, attentive and the orders were exactly as we asked for them. We had Buttered Chicken (the best dish here), Molai Kofta, Bangan Bertha and Garlic Naan. One of each was enough to fill the two of us up. Still my favorite place to go for Indian in the Springs.
This was our first time at India Palace. We purchased a $20 gift card from restaurant.com and when we got there we were told that it was 4-$5 gift cards. Not a big deal since we figured that we will be coming back because we loooove Indian food. This place was really good, up there with our other favorite Indian restaurants. Service was excellent, food was very flavorful, the only thing that could be improved was the atmosphere. There weren't any decorations on the walls. Not bad if that's your only complaint. We will happily go back to the India Palace!
I 'm torn with how to rate this place. We came for the lunch buffet. We got there at 12:30 and none of the bins were more than a third full, at most, and there was NO naan, so it was a very disappointing start. The saag paneer had no cheese lumps. That said, the flavor of the food that we did get was tasty enough. The butter chicken was sort of dry, and a third of the items weren 't labeled, but their curry flavors tasted good. Not much for vegetable options other than saag paneer and something that was potatoes and cauliflower but had almost no cauliflower. Their tandoori chicken was my favorite. At about 1 o 'clock they had started replenishing many of the items that were out. The restaurant was humid and stale. There was no music playing for the first 3/4 of our visit. It was difficult to get to the buffet without walking all the way around the outside. Our waters were poured with no ice into glasses that had spots and fingerprints on them. The two guys on the main floor we 're working hard, but I just wasn 't impressed. The restaurant was dingy. This will be my first and last visit here. I give them a three for the flavor, but I didn 't really care for anything else I experienced here.
