Barnwood Restaurant - Colorado Springs

Best meal we've had in quite a while. Being from upstate NY, it's been hard to find really good chicken wings in CO and these were the best I've had in my 8 years of residence! Every course was phenomenal. It's obvious the chef truly cares about her food. Even if you're not staying at the Great Wolf Lodge, PLEASE don't be shy about eating here. Can't say enough great things.

One of the best places my wife and I have eaten at. The bison burger and parmesan fries were delicious. The half chicken, house salad, and mashed potatoes with gravy was also very delicious. Everything is locally brought in fresh and their desserts are scrumptious. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely worth the price for an amazing meal after a fun day at the water park.

Good selection of straight forward dishes amazingly well done, most of which are gluten free when normally I would expect them not to be. Great selection of beer, wine, and a full bar with some great choices for suggested mixed drinks. Much better restaurant than one would expect in a place which benefits from not wanting to leave the resort to get good food. Best place to get tasty food at the Great Wolf Lodge and no reason to go anywhere else to eat out while the kids are enjoying the resort.

This restaurant is in a family oriented hotel complete with water park and fast food restaurants so I did not have much hope for its sit down farm to table restaurant Not only was I wrong I was so wrong that I had two of the best dinners I have had in years. The cooking techniques were clearly sophisticated so I asked to speak with the chef Matt Redmond to find out what he was doing to bring out such vibrant and balanced flavors. The sourcing was also top notch. The freshest salad greens and vegetables and meats. The Malbec I paired with my seared New York strip also satisfied well. I don't bother to write restaurant reviews but it felt like it would be a sin not to acknowledge this unexpected excellence. Thank you Matt and your team.

Went for a work lunch in a group of 11. Courteous and friendly servers and great food. The bread and goat cheese appetizer to the chili rubbed lamb chops over garlic creamy potatoes. Others had trout, new potatoes, huge meatballs in spaghetti sauce and new York strip which was amazing. Will definitely come back to this restaurant.
