Golden Chick - Colorado City

Chickens were pretty good but the green bean side was straight from the can; warm but mush and tasteless. Service was sterile but the worst part was this strange man in the dining room. I don't think he works there, but he kept fixing the table then back to the drinking dispenser then to the table back and forth repeatedly... We had our food to go.

Stopped in to have some chicken after church and then had to go to Walmart.

The food was very fresh, rolls were soft, hot and buttery. The tenders were juicy and crispy on the outside. Roasted chicken was bold and flavourful. The customer service had the hometown country feel that was comfortable and inviting. The restaurant was exceptionally well kept and very clean bathrooms. A new must stop location for our family trips. See you soon.

Everything was great but the dirty rice it was over cooked and too much oregano other than that the fried fish and chicken were perfect and so was the roasted chicken will be eating here again.

Last week was my first time at a Golden Chick and I can safely say with confidence that I would be perfectly happy if all the KFCs in the US were replaced with a Golden Chick ?Their catfish was surprisingly good. I guess I was expecting an overcooked dried up shriveled piece of fish, but instead I got the most moist fried fish I have ever had at a fast food joint. On top of that, their rolls were amazing!Sadly, I am now 350 miles away from the closest Golden Chick so I will not be able to eat here again for a very long time unless the company decides to expand to more states ?
