Shady Lane Seafood - Colonial Beach

Shady Lane seafood was highly recommended so I ordered large steamed crabs. The crabs were indeed large and full of meat but there was barely any seasoning and the taste was bland to fishy. They were really nice and the crabs were good but could have been better with more seasoning. Please Shady Lane put some more seasoning on the crabs while they're cooking, it's not the same if you add more after they are done.

This little hole in the wall is the best place around to get fresh fish. My wife and I love coming here every so often and having a big ol' fish fry. I highly recommend that catfish.

They are fast, friendly and very helpful even to help carry your purchases to your car for you!! I drive 2 hrs to get there and 2 hrs back home probably 8 times a year. Well worth it!!

Best quality and fresh selections of local or special request seafood. The steamed Blue Crabs are always fresh and hot from open to close when seasonally available. The streamed shrimp is hands down the best I've eaten! Get it steamed on site or take home and cook yourself. Onsite It's fresh hot and ready to go in minutes. The house recipe seasoning is by far the best I've tasted. Definitely worth the time and money!!!Don't miss out!
