Place was crowded but staff was friendly and the passion cake was delicious along with the stack I had. would recommend outdoor seating for natural vibe.

Ordered 4 lemon slices. Three lemon slices were edible, the fourth had gone bad. It was dry and had the most horrific taste. I had to immediately spit it out as the taste was unimaginable and should kept eating i would undoubtedly get sick. It was evident to me that this was either an old slice of cake (over a day or two old) or had been left out in the heat for god knows how many hours today. Truly disgusting and never ordering here again. Better management and hygiene needed. To summarize: GROSS

Went there to buy a slice of cake for dessert. By choosing I realized how bad maintained and somehow dirty this place is. The sink behind the counter, the deep freezer or whatever it is, behind in distance to the cashier.. dark and dirty.. actually disgusting when you look further.. not at all a clean place to buy cakes or food there. They asked me for a small slice of cake a price, where you get in five star places nearly a half cake for this amount. Air conditioner was off, the place was hot and stuffy.. a place where they sell creamy products made with eggs.. we all know that through heat spoiled creams or products with eggs can be a serious thread to health. Their credit card machine did not work, the place is very badly maintained, inexperienced staff.. the lady didn’t even wear a protection for her long hair. Would not recommend this place at all.

English Cake company has been on our favorite dessert spot for ages. Recently onwards their one Galleface outlet has been our go to outlet because of the convince. Our favorites are their New York cheese cakes and Victoria cake. They do have savory items as well. We highly recommend you The English Cake Company

The manager of operations and her slides Since many years I am buying my cakes there, living nearby this place. Cakery became as it looks not the most hygienic cake shop.. you see dirty sinks, used unwashed platters and cuttleries. The staff is changing in quiet short times, you see always unexperienced staff behind the counter. The selection of cakes is poor on a Sunday. The merchandise is presented in a poor manner, not really attracting the sweet tooth. Today I tried to buy a slice of this simple cake, with maracuja topping,which I buy, if the selection is poor. The girl cut me a slice even half in the witdth, wish I usually get when I buy this sort of cake. The cake is expensive, and they reduce in quantity and quality to save money. After arguing with the so called operation manager „ malinda“, being not at all constructive in this matter, I asked my money back, and decided to buy my cakes somewhere else. I showed my friends the slice and they totally agreed that this is not fair and not at all a decent behavior of this manager. Same time the small girl , which served me, was scrolled by this manager, so the girl anyways hasn’t been in a good mood to serve customers. Cakery had wonderful staff, but now you have to watch carefully what you get for your money. The place is not at all operated in a hygienic manner, one day the health ministry will check it. Folks, buy your cakes somewhere else,in the meantime we have so nice places for cakes, and most of all , you will be treated better than at cakery.
