McDonald's - Collingwood

Having lived in both Canada and the United States, I can confidently say that this McDonald's is the best I have ever visited in terms of food quality and service. The drive-thru is incredibly efficient, with cars lined up to First Street, yet I received my burger in less than seven minutes. Despite negative reviews on Trip Advisor, I highly recommend this McDonald's over any other.

I want to start by saying that I have experience working in the restaurant industry and I know that bad days can happen. However, the employee working the drive-thru window tonight needs to improve her attitude or possibly be fired. She was rude and unprofessional when taking our order, making us feel like we were inconveniencing her. My companion even felt the need to check the restaurant's operating hours online to ensure we arrived at a convenient time. In addition to the poor customer service, we waited at the window for over 7 minutes before someone finally came to assist us. We had to remind the staff member that we had not yet paid, some items were missing from our order, and when we finally left, two of the hot chocolates we ordered turned out to be just hot water. This experience was extremely disappointing, especially since I have never had issues when ordering inside the restaurant after a night at Blue Mountain. I hope that this was just a one-time occurrence and not a regular issue.

Whenever we visit this McDonald's location, the soda tastes awful. It lacks flavor and has too much carbonation.

What's going on? I understand you're in a short position. But I arrived at 1130. Friday night drive thru, completely closed. Have some consistency, Mr. Kelly.

Terrible customer service. Lady was rude and condescending. They need to look at who they put at service area.
