Bidra med feedbackThe old maryland grill offers a thorough menu and an extensive wine card. good ambiente for casual eating or a special occasion. the hotel is located in a hotel lobby so is a good choice for those who stay there. ny strip steak was cooked directly!
I recently visited a restaurant in the bar area and discovered that they no longer offer an oyster program. The menu has become more standard since they first opened, now featuring American dishes with a touch of Maryland flair. Despite receiving good service and being able to order from the brunch menu, I found that the overall menu shift has made other restaurants more appealing. While guests staying at the hotel may find it convenient to dine here, there are other dining options available nearby. I may return in the future for a promising happy hour, as the bartenders were great.
The shell chowder was literally the best I ever had. the crabcakes they will say omg. please bring them back
We had a perfect Christmas dinner at the Old Maryland Grill! We brought our two young children with us and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was peaceful and the service and food were both outstanding. We plan to bring more family members here when they visit the city.
There are not many high-quality restaurants in College Park, likely due to its proximity to a university. However, I had dined at this restaurant with my mother about two years ago and she was excited to return while visiting her grandson. The food was satisfactory, but I remember that the restaurant used to focus on sourcing ingredients locally from farms for their seafood, meat, and vegetables. I even enjoyed a glass of Maryland wine. Now, it appears they have shifted to using foodservice companies and generic offerings, like pre-prepared fried cauliflower. While there is nothing particularly wrong with the food, it no longer stands out as it once did. It seems like the 'local' concept did not prove successful and led to this change in sourcing.
