Bidra med feedbackWe came here almost by “accident”, but our experience was no accident AT ALL. We’ve spent many months in Tuscany over the years staying in a small village 45 minutes away. I’m almost certain we have never had BETTER food. I’m uncertain if we’ve ever had food quite so good! The ravioli was spectacular, the pappardelle was so good the sauce wasn’t the key. Impressive for homemade pasta!! We had the semifreddo and it was to die for. Our hosts made us feel like family and we are certain to be back!! You cannot possibly go wrong having a meal (or three! here.
We came here on the recommendation of our host. The food was amazing! We had the special of the night which was a pork that was slow roasted all day delicious!! I had my standby pappadelle with cinghiale the best I’ve had on our trip! Dessert also did not disappoint a chocolate type lava cake filled with pistachio cream and he had a semifreddo that was divine!! Busy place that was worth every minute!
You wouldn't really step inside this restaurant when you look at it from the street side, but as in many cases in Italy, these are the best restaurants! There is a small outside terrace where we ate, nothing fancy. The food was the best we had on our entire 2-weeks holiday in Italy (which covered several regions), really delicious. All dishes are cooked for many hours (and days) to get all the aromas and flavours to the maximum. Friendly staff that speaks English if needed.
Il ristorante è sul lato della strada, visibile, con parcheggio davanti. il proprietario molto gentile. vi accoglie con la sua degotazione di oli, menù tipico toscano, ottimo prezzo.
