Cube Grill - Colchester

Wanted to visit cube with friends on a Saturday night after an amazing dinner at the pavilion! Was turnerd away by a very aggressive male and even more aggressive female door bouncer! Now I totally agree with turning away riff raff but we are 35+ adults with children looking for a bit of dancing and singing to end the night and to be told we are not allowed in under no circumstances because of our behaviour is just ridiculous! Get off your power trip hun, we just wanted a good night with good music... how we remembered cube from years ago! Will not bother returning and will tell all my friends not to!!!

Feels so different since the refurb, Had a lovely lunch at a really good price, Complementary glass of wine, and a lovely and attentive waitress. Outside seating was really nice on a sunny day like today. Would definately reccomend and return

Unfriendly staff and slow service. Was very disappointed, unlikely to return. Heard a lot of fuss but didn't see the big deal.

I was very disappointed with this bar ,and especially with staff , rude and unhelpful dan ! need to sack him if he still works there.? carl halstead

The restaurant is hidden away above a busy bar but I could not fault the service, quality of food or atmosphere The staff were polite and professional, the menu varied and the decor pleasant Prices a little higher than average but a good night out
