Red Rooster - Colac

I ordered her roasted chicken and potatoes and peas. It was good. They lost a star cos on the menu says it $11.99 or something, but they accused me of $14.94. I didn't know if I ordered extra, it was the same food I got on the menu!

After returning from Great Ocean Road in the evening, I stopped in Colac for dinner and decided to give Red Rooster a try based on recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised! The chicken was incredibly juicy and tender. The chips were a bit salty, but still delicious. I enjoyed the variety of options available. It reminded me of Jollibee from the Philippines - I wish we had something like this in Singapore.

I may have been charged too much, or perhaps Red Rooster is just on the pricier side. I'm not certain, but the meal was decent. The chips were extremely salty, but the rest of the dishes were satisfactory. It was nice that everything was freshly cooked.

It was just a quick break from driving a long way at night as my eyes were quite tired from the oncoming headlights. i did order the buttermilk chicken wings of which tasted nice but the crumb coating was a little on the burnt side. just a touch only the chicken meat inside was a welcome taste and tummy top up after a nice day out. service was good as it was quick since my friend and i were the only one in at the time.

The staff were fantastic. But the chicken rolls were microwaved to within an inch of their lives.
