Botanic Cafe on the Lake - Colac

I had a truly delightful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and I felt very welcome in the relaxing environment. Every need was quickly met and the meal was absolutely delicious. The staff were dedicated to providing great service and I am pleased to give this restaurant a positive review as it encourages the staff to excel.

Botanic Cafe is very popular locally. It's always an enjoyable experience to dine there. It can get a bit noisy as seats are close, but hey you can always dine outside anyway. I had my favourite food fish and chips. Crunchy batter and soft flavoursome fish combined with chunky beautifully cooked chips and a light salad with mayo in a small bowl. Mmmm it was good.Coffee is not bad but the drinks menu is a smidgen light on for variety. Food menu is a combination of set meals and specials. Specials quite often are a soup of some sort. I'll return again and again.

Such a little coffee house treasure with wonderful local staff, good coffee, lovely chocolate Florentines that give the impression they are hand made and in the fabulous surrounds of the garden

And not just for us, the place was very busy the twice I've visited at lunchtimes.You can eat inside or out, and the place seems to be available for functions and parties.The food and wine are certainly delightful.I had a lamb salad and my friend had a chicken Caesar wrap.The rest of the food coming out of the kitchen looked great.

Met here for lunch with friends. Service was friendly and prompt, meals were lovely. Beautiful setting and lovely sitting on the deck
