Bidra med feedbackStopped in for lunch, wanted to sit in the patio but it was reserved for a private party. Offered a booth and it was cozy and comfortable. Served free chips and salsa (first basket is free, but they charge for additional baskets). Chips were homemade, fresh and good. Salsa was also homemade, but a little on the sweet side. I had a taco salad with ground beef. It was very good and served with sour cream and guacamole in a tortilla bowl. My husband had a chicken burrito deluxe with corn and beans. The beans were awesome, the corn had onions in them which we didn’t care for, but that’s a personal preference, don’t remember seeing that in the menu description. He said his chicken was a bit dry, but good, next time he said he’d get the ground beef as he really liked the flavor it gave my salad. We asked for sour cream for our chips, but didn’t get it before the meal. Service was okay. The hostess was awesome, very friendly and welcoming. Our server seemed nervous and didn’t offer suggestions or conversation, but okay, just like more interaction. Overall a nice atmosphere, kind staff, clean, comfortable and great Mexican food with lots of flavor and freshness! Recommendation- Offer unlimited chips and salsa, the charge for additional chips is kind of weird. Nonetheless- Highly recommend.
I really wanted to enjoy this place. We stopped after a long day in Yellowstone, and it was one of the few restaurants open. The salsa was great, but they charged for refills; so we declined. This is blasemphy to a native Texan. ? Half our party loved their food while the other half was not impressed. I ordered the chicken fajita burrito. The chicken had a great flavor, but the bell peppers weren't even cooked, and they were in huge chunks. I didn't care for the beans or rice. I should have stuck with salsa and chips. The staff was nice and friendly.Parking: Street parking. I'm sure at times it can be difficult to find parking.
Probably the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Very tasteless. Small bowl of chips and next one is $4. Margaritas are made in the morning. So watery I had to order a shot. The house tequila was $8 a shot! My husband, who never complains about food, agreed that even the guacamole was tasteless. I thought his rice was rancid. Leon, the server, was great. Very disappointing
Yummy food, fantastic Mexican. (I should say, it’s more New Mexican/American Mexican. And really delicious. Right in the heart of Cody. Plenty of places to park really good food. Their website is funny, all you can do on their website is order salsa. So if you want to order a meal (to pick up as you’re driving through which I recommend you have to call them or go in. It’s worth it. Really great place. If you’re just passing through or if you’re staying a few days.
We were starving after a long day spent driving to Cody, and hungry for Mexican food. This place definitely fit the bill! Had to wait a little while to get in, but that's because it was a busy weekend night. We shared the fajita for two, and even though we both ate until we were stuffed there were still leftovers. Price was reasonable. Parking was convenient in a public lot right behind the restaurant.
