Bidra med feedbackLast visit, my family, of four, sat at the hibachi table where we ordered shrimp, chicken, and steak dinners.The service wasn't the best, and the food wasn't that spectacular either. The food was edible, to say the least, and lacked flavor (bland). It's a bit pricey, but the portions are decent. The waitress was good, the atmosphere was nice. The restaurant was empty with only one other family on the other side for their dine in option. I don't think I will be dining here anymore.
Service wasn 't the worst, but it certainly didn 't make up for the food given either. Although the food was edible to say the least, it was as if someone just cooked some chicken and rice, plain as ever, and served it with a little side with teriyaki sauce that came separately on the plate. The sauce wasn 't even spot on and although I acknowledge the variations available, it tasted like a syrupy soy sauce-xanthan gum mix; not to mention that the sauce was cold and most likely freshly squeezed out of a condiment bottle. I expected this place to be more of a Habachi standard kind of restaurant, given its prices and outdoor shopping mall setting. Even the food court in Palm Beach Gardens had better teriyaki sauce than here. If I wanted plain chicken and rice, by the way, I could 've just skipped the trip and made my own at home. The server was polite and the restaurant was pretty quiet and nearly empty, so 4 stars on both. The service is much, much better than at Fujihana in Aventura, however, so it 's up to you to decide between mediocre food versus rude service.
So let me start by saying my family and friends have been going to this facility for YEARS !!! Literally. I attended this exact establishment while i was pregnant everyday!!! And even held my baby shower here because we LOVED THIS PLACE ! But today !!! The day of my birthday at that the service was absolutely horrible and I’ll never recommend or attend this place again ! The server LILLY MADE ME SURE MY FAMILY KNEW THAT SHE HATES SERVING PPLE LIKE US black pple because they gave me BURNT FOOD ! From a chef i complained about multiple times ! And apparently others complained about also ! So my bill was 116 they added a 20 gratuity and i said i would not pay it because the service was bad. I never said i wouldn’t tip the server but the chef i was not going to tip . So she proceeded to argue with me through out the restaurant call the manager ANTHONY. WHO THEN CANE OUT WITH NASTY BEHAVIOR THINKING I WANTED TO EAT And not PAY ! ASKING ME TO SEE THE FOOD THAT WAS BURNT AND WHEN I SHOWED HIM HE SAID HE WOULD TAKE OFF THE 6 kid shrimp when might i add ! It was my entree steak that was Burnt! I told him i had no issue paying for my meal but i WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT PAYING A TIP ! Of 20 for burnt food and bad behavior . I will never attend this establishment again i wish i knew the owner or corporate . Because this service today was the absolute worse so me and my family or friends will never attend again and i wish i could show u guys how much money we have spent with with them over the years .
My wife and I have been here many times and have NEVER been disappointed. Last visit, we sat at the hibachi table where she ordered the filet and scallops (always a favorite), and I ordered tuna tataki along with the tempura vegetables. By far, the best tuna in SoFlo, prepared perfectly every time. Quality of ingredients sets this hibachi restaurant above the rest, in my opinion.
I had the seared scallops and vegetables. The scallops were wonderful but the veggies were all onions with slivers of peppers which were the thinness I have ever not seen. The veggies ruined the total experience .
