KFC - Cobourg

The chicken was dry, I only received half a portion of fries, the salad was only three-quarters full, and the gravy was watery. Disappointing overall, especially considering the hard-earned money I spent. I am giving them one star only because it is required to leave a review.

We ordered the entrée platter because we were hosting guests. It was a confusing disaster. No one could figure out what each piece was. It was tough to eat. Was it chicken? Regardless, most of it ended up in the trash, leaving us feeling embarrassed and resorting to ordering pizza instead. This is the second time we've had issues with strange chicken dishes from this restaurant... we will not be returning.

Kentucky Fried Chicken's advertisement promised friendly staff who are sociable, skilled cooks. However, the reality was a bit hit-and-miss, with most dishes missing the mark. The fried chicken was greasy and overcooked, with one dish swimming in fat. It seems like they only know how to cook chicken deep-fried. Customer service also left much to be desired. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I've heard similar complaints from others who have dined there. It might be time to look for another dining option.

The chicken was coated in some thinkbatters that do not even remind the secret recipe of the colonel. Tasteless, greasy and overcooked. The white meat is now cut into small pieces, not as it was before. The staff was friendly and efficient, too bad they have to work on a place where the majority of customers only go once. Ordered a large bucket and will most likely drop what remains in the garbage. KFC headquarters should check this place.

About a year or so ago KFC changed how they cut their chicken pieces and loaded them up with batter to hide it. The meat content is now terrible, dry, mixed light and dark and broken bones. Never buy again.
