Bidra med feedbackI came with my family for a nice Sunday brunch that didn't go well. For ancestors my family was arrested at the door and our passport was examined with a fine comb looking for some reason not to let our family eat....While a white family is only wavy and sitting immediately. The older server melts as if it had just smoked some reserve cigarettes, and when she spoke, she had to cough and clean her throat. I wasn't comfortable with her 6 feet of my children even with a mask. The food was in no way good. The sauce on the eggs was lumpy and cold and we saw the cook pouring it out of the can. The plates had a permanent slate or gram on them and they looked so dirty.. at a point where the older server for another cigarette was laced out I lifted the plate and saw cake on egg yolk on the bottom of the plate. The windows had old tape and other dirt cakes on them there was a layer of smog cloud that came out of the fritends. There are two other clean restaurants that have recently been refurbished, just on the street in the next plaza that you like to use professionally.
I visited the restaurant this morning and found it to be not very busy. I observed an employee serving food and cooking in the kitchen without wearing a mask or hair net. I also noticed that after coughing, they did not wash their hands. The food was okay, but it was not what we had ordered and appeared to have been sitting under warming lights while the staff chatted amongst themselves. Overall, I was not impressed and do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
I had one of the worst restaurant experiences in many years at Daybreak Breakfast with my S/O today. Hygiene wasn't there. We sat at a table she quickly wiped off, my friend complained about crumbs in her place. The chefs continued and were loud enough that it was a strange situation, but that was not a big concern. Between screaming bouts with their other chef, the loud interlocutor did not wear a mask. I had enough, finished my coffee and asked to pay emidiately after I was served the meal. I saw the cook pouring the Hollandaise sauce out of a box, and it was so crisp and rough I didn't touch it. My GF just wanted to get out, but felt bad to make a scene, I knew that the cook would definitely have something to say as she waited a table in front of us and said to the costumes oh wow she really f ed that up eh? Everywhere was a man and his young daughter. So I got up and asked to pay and go, we didn't want to eat this food. The chef attacked me and I expressed my concerns that she does not wear a mask or wash her hands. Never back there and I'm local.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for breakfast. Our server, the blonde girl, was very friendly and attentive. The food was superb!
We usually have a very enjoyable breakfast here, but this morning it was extremely busy. The only waitress was being run off of her feet and looked like she was not feeling the best. We ended up with someone else's order and we didn't receive...our toast until we were literally getting up to leave. Some of the other diners were obviously experiencing long wait times and incorrect orders. We in no way blame the waitress. She was doing the best that she could. I overheard her telling someone that she had texted the owner to ask for more help, but they are trying to save money by having fewer employees. Not fair to the staff OR the customers!!!
