Jacob's Ladder - Cobh

From the moment we arrived, the man at the front desk was extremely helpful and willing to assist us in any way. The staff were all very friendly, and the food was outstanding, making it worth it to sit outside and enjoy the breathtaking views. We had booked two rooms for a family getaway and would highly recommend this hotel as a great base to explore the town and surrounding areas. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We spent our last night of our honeymoon at WatersEdge and we absolutely loved it. It felt like home to us. The staff, including Jack, Sinead, Angela, and Karen, were all amazing. The chef is wonderful and all the food made by the chef is made with love, earning a perfect 10/10 rating. You would be foolish not to stay here for the delicious food, rooms with a sea view, and the friendly staff. We will definitely be returning in a few months. I have stayed at the WatersEdge Hotel three times this year and it never fails to impress. The rates are excellent and the location is ideal, with plenty of attractions nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and shops. The staff are extremely friendly, with a particularly lovely young lady at breakfast who is cheerful, smiling, and very helpful. Jimmy Jack was also very attentive when I went for lunch. I highly recommend trying their homemade Pate, it's delicious. The Thai Prawn curry for dinner was an excellent choice. The rooms are spotless and offer excellent views overlooking Cobh Bay, the Naval base, and Spike Island. The room service from the friendly lady was top-notch, always making sure we had enough tea, coffee, towels, and toiletries. Overall, you can't go wrong with a stay at this hotel.
