Marty City - Cluj-Napoca

They have a large variety of food plates. Myself I tried many dishes from them. The food is very good but not excellent. This time I ate pasta with tomato sauce and sheels. The taste very good but the pasta was overcooked. Maybe it was...one time thing. I will definetly come back and try it again. Prices from medium to high! Coffee is a must to try also.

Good service. great staff. I was a couple times, actually every time I get to julius mall, that's my lunch stop. they have a full bar with local cultural drinks.

This place is located within the iulius mall. large tables, beautiful view. various menus, but mostly shredded eating. drinks are met or miss.

I drove with my friend to cluj, that was the second time we visited this city together. we were already in marty restaurants and my friend seemed to like her eating, so we decided this time to go to marty in...Iulius mall. that was a terrible experience. Although the place was quite empty and there were 7 employees, no one came to us. we gave them a signal, but still nobody came to our table. my friend had a protective mask because of the coronavirus epidemic situation, and from the minute we arrived, they just looked at us so rude. there was a costumer who came after us and was served before. we didn't know what happened at the moment, and we've always looked at them to see if someone would come to us. Finally, a waiter approached us, and we asked why no one had come to our table before. he apologised and said our table is in his section and he cannot speak in the name /for the behavior of his colleagues. I work in a 5 star hotel in london and I know how real costume service is. her service was very bad and totally unprofessional. the employees were on the theke who spoke to each other, stress-free, laughing, not even harassed to check us. and again, I repeat, they have looked very strange to us, we felt very compliant. although my partner said to let it go(because we were quite hungry) I would not stay and eat at a place, I know that the personal is neglected and there is a very negative attitude. we just left and wanted to go after kfc. trust me, we were much more satisfied!

Marty franchise has extended in the past years, which is good, shows they had place in the food market. However, if at their beginnings, they used to provide quality services and food, now they’ve become average, their overall quality has decreased and its clientele has...become so diverse... in a bad way. When you own a menu with so many different types of dishes, you mandatorily lack essence and perfection. It’s like having a lot from a lot, a thing which may satisfy the average customer, but, I guess it depends on their purpose, right? I mean, if I feel like pizza, I definitely have better options on the market. If I feel like burgers or pasta it’s the same. When a client has traveled and experienced many dishes and different types of cuisines, if he ends up eating at Marty’s, he’ll feel disappointed. Where to add that the prices are high for a Romanian so they need to offer quality in return of that.
