Dante - Cloverdale

Love love love love this place! It's always our beer and a shot stop on our way to Boonville! The REAL locals hang out here too. My kinda people. Love it!

I'm a fan for secret 6am drinking... This place has II all. The perfect small town bar.

Great little dive bar with very unique patrons. We had a great afternoon trying to understand what Hiipy Dan was saying to us. We know he likes baseball and knows all songs before 1970. The history here is great. Back bar was shipped around the horn and there's remains of the cat house out back from railroad times. Bar maid was excellent, tip her good.

We were told that since we were staying in Cloverdale, we had to stop by and have a drink at this dive bar. Dive is correct on many levels. I ended up sitting next to the owner- nice guy- he gave me a brief history of the place and then we had casual conversation while my boyfriend drank his bottle of beer. I had bottled water as I was done drinking after a day of saturation from wine tasting in Healdsburg/Geyersville The bathroom left a lot to be desired but that's to be expected at an establishment such as this. The people we met while there were friendly.

Now this is an interesting place. They don't take credit cards and it doesn't seem like they have renovated since they opened in the 1800s. But you know what. It's kinda cool. Bartender was super friendly. But for most people, I would recommend going. But if you are like me and love to see something out of the norm, this is definetively a place it could be fun to get sloppy drunk. 5 stars if you like the diveyest of dive bars. 1 star if you are one a romantic date : Slurp slurp
