Kochi By The Lake - Clover

Absolutely atrocious experience! By far the worst meal I've had in the area in years! The Crab Rangoon was burned to a crisp and tasted like a dirty nursing home smells. I wouldn't be surprised if I got sick from eating them. They were rancid and made stomach turn. There was nothing at all special about the steak special other than the pathetic portions that was mostly old stale vegetables. Their shrimp sauce was even terrible which I didn't even think was possible. Do yourselves a favor and avoid Kochi like the plague unless you want to take your chances ingesting what might actually be the plague.

I work 3rd shift and wanted to pick up some food on my way into work. I didn’t realize they closed at 8:45. When I arrived I saw 8 or more cars in the parking lot and one car in the drive thru. When I got to the door I saw the sign that they close at 8:45. I thought ok it’s now 8:38 I have a few minutes I’m getting it to go anyways because I’m on my way to work. When I walk in I notice know body inside and one person behind the counter. She looks up at me and says we’re closed. I said your sign says 8:45 where she said no it’s 8:40. I looked back at my watch and said even still it’s 8:38. She said were closed. I said you guys can’t make a to go order in 7 minutes. She said we’re done for the night. I said this is ridiculous I’ll be back to speak to someone. I understand if I was dining in but you advertise that your open until a certain time you serve everyone until that time. I’m experiencing to many places these days where these young lazy entitled kids have no work ethics or customer service. Teach your employees customer service. I’m tired of walking into a place of business and these kids act like I’m being a burden and making them work. It’s your job. I’m paying for your business or now I want ever pay for your business.

It's basically the old sake express from Cherry road in Rock Hill, legacy good quality food! Love the sweet carrots and their shrimp sauce is the best! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Unfortunately, they do not have their dining room open for customers. Used to be such a nice place to eat with my family. They need to hire more people and open their dining room. Takeout only and dining room closed for over two years now. The Such a nice facility wasted. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Tuesday, September 26 8:10pm Tried to call Kochi to place an order for pickup, the message on their phone goes through all the dates and times throughout the entire year when they're open and closed then says press 1 to place an order, when you press 1 it disconnects you. This place has been a joke since it switched from Saki to Kochi. Its like the entire operation is run by inept teenagers.
