I didn't think you could screw up Mexican food, but this place did. The food was bland (some of the people in our party were OK to leave uneaten food), the salsa tasted like tomato sauce with some mild spice (made it better with bottled chili sauce on the table), the fajita plate was not sizzling like other restaurants (cooked and then transferred to a cast iron looking plate), and they don't serve margaritas ... more a product of the county then the restaurant. Definitely not impressed.

A few of us met at El Preferido. The waitress came and asked what we wanted to drink.First, she brought us chips salsa and drinks. A few minutes later, the waitress asked if we were ready to order. I don't frequent Mexican restaurants much, so my friend said anything you order here tastes great.I ordered a chicken Taco Salad, which is awesome! If you're ever around the Clover area, you must try this place out. You will enjoy the food.Parking: They have plenty of parking spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp for wheelchairs.

We got there it was so packed. We had to sit at the bar. There were only two very nice servers, Took a while to get our food, but when we got it, it was delicious. Come here instead of the one down the road for sure! Give the servers a bonus or a raise please because they deserve it!
