Bidra med feedback4 stars for the food/ 1 star for the prices/ 1 star for customer service. I've ordered catering from Green Spoon in the past, and the food is good. You can tell they put love into their items, because the food tastes home-made and clean (none of the unnecessary spices or MSG . However, I stopped by to pick up some of their pre-packaged items and I do NOT recommend. Everything is extremely overpriced! I don't mind paying more for good quality food, but this was insane especially because they don't use organic ingredients. The salmon I got cost $25 for one fillet, but then they charged me an extra $2 to cook it plus tax. (She forgot to charge me initially so made me pay the extra $2 separately. It was still fully raw in the middle so I ended up having to recook it anyway when I got home. So, I basically paid $27 for a piece of salmon that I could have gotten at Whole Foods for less and responsibly sourced. A small container of pre-packaged banchan here is $7, when it's only $3.50 elsewhere. I understand a 15-20% or even 30% upcharge for better quality but this is insane. I ended up spending $69 for 5 items and it wasn't even enough for lunch for 2 people. For these prices, I would rather just go to a restaurant and eat. Then at least I don't have to do the dishes afterwards.
Green Spoon is my must stop everytime I'm driving from New York City to my house upstate. I buy snacks for the drive, dinner and fridge essentials for cooking as well. Everything is made with love. Definitely one of my all time favorites.
You need to get a loan from a bank if you want to buy grilled salmon from this store. Yes, everything else is expensive here.
I Just wanted to say a big thank you to Mrs Susan Ryan, she's genuine kindness and bluntness at times when I needed to face reality are what made me progress. I invested $5000 and got $46,700 in a week. I only wish I had known about you earlier from the first moment I decided to trade. Nevertheless, I am grateful!
A cute little gem hidden away in Closter. I could tell everything was made with care. Quality over quantity. I tried the kimchi, which was not cheap by any means, and it was delicious and neatly prepared.
