Nicks Grill - Clive

I often choose my restaurants on the basis of their availability by opentable. when we arrived at lunch and I told them I had a reservation, they told me they didn't use opentable. there was no big thing because there was 10° outside and there was no weight, but if it had been busy, I would not have had any luck. as always the server was absolutely incredible. only wish that the clotting bisque was hotter on a cold day. just reason why I don't give them five stars is because they don't use aktiw opentable. that makes it misleading, especially because I lost 100 points.

Do not use opentable for Nick’s. they claim that they do not use the service so that either nods are lazy and it does not repair or open table will not leave them out of the service. eating is great!

It was very busy and when we arrived for our reservation, we were told that the restaurant does not make reservations and does not participate in the open table. they do not know why open table has listed them as a reservation. they took us as well as possible. while waiting at the bar, there were two other parties that also open table only used to find that nicks does not accept this.

It was good, but they did not have our reservation as they said they had no relationship to opentable, so we had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation time.

We made reservations through OpenTable for New Year's Eve, but upon our arrival we found out that Nick's doesn't participate in OpenTable. They said they have no way of knowing who has booked. Luckily they were able to get us in within a relatively short time. We enjoyed drinks at the bar bartender was wonderful! Our waitress was very overwhelmed (she told us so)...took a long time to get our drink orders, for her to take our orders, etc. Luckily we were just enjoying the evening and didn't have plans after dinner. As I looked around, she was the only staff member who seemed stressed. Food was wonderful! Would definitely go back maybe our waitress was just having a rough day. I do have hesitations about using OpenTable if they have restaurants out there that aren't affiliated with them.
