Bidra med feedbackFood was good. Service was horrible. They made you feel like they were waiting for you to hurry up and leave. We ordered a coffee to go along with meal and when we asked for more they said they were out. We actually found out that they wanted to close early and did not want to make another pot. Oh and they also said they needed that for in the morning. I have never been treated like that before. I have ate there before and food has always been good. Usually service is ok but you still have to get there attention to get anything like a refill, napkin, knife whatever. I don’t like leaving a bad review but we were both very irritated when we left.
Expired condiments on the table, wilted lettuce served as a salad and food that was less than. Not sure if our table just missed out on the signature home-made item.
For a local dive, it’s decent. Prices are a little high, and food quality is pretty average. Their staff does take good care of the customers!Kid-friendliness: Always see kids in there! Great atmosphere for them.Dietary restrictions: They really don’t have too many options for gluten free or keto. Everything comes with a side of carbs, and they don’t make many substitutions. Also, usually the only veggie is corn.
TheDiner it’s a fantastic place to eat. The food was fantastic. The service is fantastic and the prices are even better. They give you so much food we took half our plates home. I think everybody should check it out it’s all for 14 and Hwy P right there and it is fantastic. Go see it enjoy it.Vegetarian options: You can ask them to make you anything and I am sure they would do it. They are wonderful people. The food is fantastic there and I did want more vegetables. I did have it in an egg like an omelette, but the vegetables that I had was very fresh. They welcome everyone and it’s very much a family atmosphere! This service was fantastic. I would recommend this place to everyone. It is definitely Worth it for us to drive 25 minutes to get a good meal, then to go someplace closer to us and it not be a good meal. The diner is the best around!Kid-friendliness: A family could walk in there with seven kids and they would be more than welcome. It’s a very homy atmosphere. I recommend it food is great.Parking: It’s in the shopping center and there’s plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: That is one thing I looked for because sometimes I am in a wheelchair and it’s assessable
I have ordered takeout on 3 different occasions and each time the order is wrong. I asked for sunny-side-up eggs and it wasn’t even close. The excuse I was given by the owner is that the eggs continue to cook while in the container. I understand that food continues to cook once taken off the cooking surface, but not to the extent it cooks the eggs all the way through on both sides. I wasn’t even apologized to by the owner, just given a terrible excuse. I will continue to support small businesses in this area, but this isn’t one of them that I will support.I don’t believe that customers are always right, but when you tell the owner himself that your orders have been messed up before taking the last order home, only to have your next order missing food when you get home. So how should a business make it right with the customer when every order is consistently wrong? I don’t have all the answers, but southern hospitality dictates that you apologize at the minimum. Little advice, make your customers happy…they will return. I don’t recommend take-out. I also would recommend a better inspection of the order before you completely seal the bags making it harder for the customer to inspect their order.Best of luck on fixing your issues, if you care.
