Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel when we went to a concert at rocket mortgage center. I did like the location of the hotel. It was walkable distance to the venue. However, I was not satisfied with the customer service aspect, and the rooms were subpar.When we first arrived at the hotel, our room was on the ninth floor with a Cityview, which I had picked out intentionally. My five-year-old and I with a decent amount of luggage arrive to the room and found it to be malodorous and smelling of smoke with an air purifier on the desk, I called downstairs to let them know that the room did not smell good and they had me come back down to the front desk to change my route. The front desk worker initially tried to place me in another room without a Cityview, but when I requested the Cityview seemed annoyed at my request. I did not feel as valued as a Hilton Honors member as what I normally experience a Hilton. We arrive to our new room which was much better and it was clean, but not the cleanest room I’ve stayed in.The views from the hotel of Cleveland were amazing. The beds were comfortable. We did enjoy the pool and hot tub.Check in process in and out was easy, just know it’s an extra $20 to park in the parking lot. I like to the location of the hotel but it could use some improvements would probably stay at a different hotel next time which is sad because I’m pretty loyal to Hilton.Rooms: Cleanliness 3.5/5, comfortable , good viewsWalkability: Close to the Baseball field and rocket mortgage center

In the heart of downtown this is an older hotel. It’s .3 miles from several of the hot spots like 4th street dining.Parking is great for downtown! As you pass the building there is a sign for parking which takes you to a private lot.The hotel room is a little dated but it’s okay. Easy access to highway.Rooms: A little dated but clean and well stockedNearby activities: Coffee shop across the street.Safety: I felt very safe with parking and being out and about in the lotFood drinks: I passed on the hotel food, limited options.

Save your money and get a room at Motel 6. Multiple issues throughout a 2 night stay and there was no concern or truly sincere apologies given as to any of it. Sub-par room cleanliness and customer service. The convenience of being just across the street from Progressive Field was not worth the price as it was the only thing this hotel has going for it. Spend your money elsewhere as most everything is within a short 15/20 walk.

Supposed to have a room ready at 4pm. We show up at 5 and they tell us the room should be ready by 10pm or after the game . My father is fresh out of surgery and in pain. All he wanted to do was rest but we made the mistake of booking here. If you 're staying to go to the Cleveland clinic avoid this place at all costs. They are unorganized and unapologetically uncaring about said situation. I wish I could give this hotel zero stars.

Staff is wonderful and the room are clean!! Jane who we met when we arrived is like a greeter, is lovely and makes you feel at home, note to hotel manager...keep her and keep her out front, I'd cone back just see her!! It's about a 4 minute drive from the Brown Stadium, Lake Erie, Rock n Roll Hall of Fame so worth a trip just for that), Indians Stadium about next door and the Science Museum.The Bed was soooo comfy!! Ask for the 11th floor city view it is amazing, you see the entire city and Lake Erie.. The pool and Spa was relaxing for sure and clean. We were very Dissapointed at Harvey's Grill and Bar. It is not even close to the menu description. Frozen food on a plate. The Shrimp drizzled with Shiracha Sauce is soggy popcorn shrimp on a large pile of fries with a side of ice cold Shiracha Sauce $15.00. My husband got the tortellini with meatballs same price, soggy frozen meatballs, frozen boiled tortellini. No flavors. The Ceaser salad was really good! I did see another's table of boneless wing and wished I ordered that, it looked really good. The 18.00 Breakfast bar was very limited to scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage or bacon, cereal, pastry, fruit. Was hoping for pancakes or waffles lol. But there is complementary coffee.I will stay here again but eat out.Thank you for a enjoyable stay!Nearby activities: acoffee.already said above
