Hansa Brewery - Cleveland

Great beer. Great food. Very good service! Wish this place was in my hometown!

A great local German restaurant. The staff is very nice, our waiter showed us a fun meme and made jokes that had us laughing by the end of our meals. He also was willing to talk to us in German, which was nice because we're trying to learn. The small store attached to it is very nice as well, lots of chocolate, pasta, sauces, and cookie varieties and much more. There was even a friendly cat : would come back

We just went to Hansa for the first time and it was absolutely incredible. The food was authentic and delicious (jagerschnitzel, the lamb, and the streudels were SO dang good), the beer was really great quality, and the service was so comforting, for lack of a better word. We really felt like we were being taken care of and that they were happy for us to be there and proud of the food and beer. We will be so happy to go back and make this restaurant a regular occasion.

The food was amazing, and the beer was even better! I've had some of the best red cabbage (rotkraut) in years. I highly recommend the schwarzbier, schnitzel, and the sausage platter. The beer flight offered a fantastic value with generous sample sizes.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, which boasts an awesome Eastern European vibe. They offer a variety of excellent beers, and the bar atmosphere makes for an enjoyable time. The owner even came out to engage with some of us, which I thought was a lovely gesture. It was great to see him taking the time to connect with his customers.
