Cotton Patch Cafe - Cleburne

I thought it was just another chain. They've been here since the late 1980s. Tim, our server was great. He was very attentive to our 7 wife party. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I order Chicken Dumpling soup and rolls... Fresh bread with butter? The restaurant was well maintained, food was great?, service was great... I would definitely be back with the family to try a dessert and coffee.

If I hadn't got any stars, I would have. We have ordered to go through delivery apps several times and it is terrible every time. Today was a good example. We ordered a children's meal with two fruit sauces, a tea and obligatory cookies. The fruit cup (I am very loose with this term; see the picture attached) was a single strawberry slice. We didn't get tea or cookies. The garlic toast was stale. We also ordered the bbq Brisket tacos and did not receive the chips, salsa or guacamole. Basically, half of our nearly twenty dollars order has not arrived. Quality control in this place is not available. I do not recommend going to this place. One of the worst experiences I've ever had.

The food was fresh and hot! My chicken roasted steak was absolutely delicious. Our server Angel was great. She was very friendly and remained on our needs. I was very impressed by her service and hope to have her again on my next visit!

The waitress was super nice and cutely dressed, but that doesn't give you a big tip of me...holy wow this girl couldn't do anything right... poor thing, she asked what we wanted, we told her our drinks and when she came back, she asked if we wanted appetizers and we ordered that... then she said that I was right back. We chose what we wanted and closed or menu... and waited and waited... I'll be right back, means one or two minutes or even to see menus closed... but 27 minutes? Really?... when she finally came back, she took our order and we played the waiting game again... I can understand, if the restaurant is full, it'll take a bit... but there were only a few tables occupied... 35 minutes later my husband appears because he thought he saw how he saw that they put his plate in the pick-up window, then he heard them laugh and joke around in the back area. Yup, it was his plate, and it was only for 14 minutes... we asked for the manager and she was as useless as or waiter... Don't worry about her saying... we didn't get our meal and they weren't for what they fed us... super disappointed...

We ate at Cotton Patch last night which was a Wednesday. We waited 15 minutes for waitress to get drink order another 15 for the straws. We ordered Texas size Mushrooms which we never got. Waitress came back took our order a half hour later another half our to get food. She gave me the wrong salad and was rude about taking it back. Never came back and seen if we needed a drink refill. After a half hour or so and my family had all finished their meals I told the rude waitress to forget the salad and give me the bill. Again she was rude. We eat their all the time but I a sure you it will be awhile before I go back. If you really want the great experience of eating at Cotton Patch go to Burleson or Fort Worth. It's a way better experience.
