We saw this place online drove over to try it. We went in sat down. There was only 1 lady in there the lights were off. Not a big deal with light from the outside. It was evening but not dark-dark. Cute decor. Loved the old retro vibe. Great job on nostalgia! Sat there for 5 mins before a family of 6 came in and sat at another table opposite side of the room as us. Waitress came out went to them to take their orders then us. She seemed confused when we ordered appetizers when we ordered our drinks. Took 20 mins before she took our food order. Food was par. Fries not so good. Chicken tenders were good. We were there a long time waiting. Waitress was polite. I didnt get my roll that came with my meal. Though she took our order after theirs, are food did come out at the same time she served ours first. That was appreciated. Were from a small Town enjoy supoorting them. May have just been an off/slow night. Short handed as most places are.

The atmosphere is great and food is good. BUT service is slow

Hidden in this little town called Clay City in Indiana is a Jem of a restaurant. The place is awesome so the food and service. If you ever come through you should stop by.
