Tubby's Sub Shop - Clawson

I ordered a Steak Sub from the Tubbys site in Royal Oak online tonight. I wasn't sure I could pick it up by the drive or if I had to come in. It was absolutely impossible to understand what the answer was, from whom was manning the drive thru. But I thought they were coming forward. So I get out of the line and park and go to the front doors. They're all locked. Then I had no choice but to get back to the line. I came 10 minutes before my order was ready to be and due to the very long line I received my food 15 minutes after. I was worried if my lower part was even hot, but it was safe. It's 82 out, but I went home without air conditioning and windows to get what heat it could have left. Wouldn't have been disturbed. I was home and it was freezing. That was a treat for me to get one of those subs, but never again.

The 2 ladies that work here are the sweetest! I literally only go to this tubbys because of those 2. They always remember me, greet me with such enthusiasm, and it makes my day. The subs are fantastic too! It always brightens my day to go here, as silly as that may sound.

The food was very poorly cooked. I had the chimminaga. There were three small ones. Suppose to have been ground beef, but they forgot so two were and the third was shredded beef. To me the quality was not there. No love at all. The waitress was nice though. Not her fault. The quality was just poor. Will never go back.

Two words: Taco Sub. Better than a sub and better than a taco. Like mixing a audio trip to tone town with Stevie Ray Vaughan and cool breezes on a summer day. My suggestion: Order inside and pour yourself a soft drink to your personal specifications to pass the time while the sandwich engineer does their magic.

Just stopped in the and got two pepper steak and cheese subs. Got home and took one bite and they are both inedible. They obviously don't clean the grill between orders and it's just riddled with charred burnt meat throughout it and that's ALL you can taste. Absolutely disgusting and I can't run back up there and return it because I've gotta get kids to bed. I can't even begin to imagine how anyone thinks that is acceptable
