Loughton Chilli - Clarksburg

Probably one of the best meals in an Indian restaurant. The only criticism would be the ambience and décor. It would work better with the tables not down each side of the restaurant, but dotted around and less bright lights.

Freshly prepared and tasty food and it doesn’t feel so heavy after a meal there.

The other dishes were equally disappointing. The tikka masala was an odd bright pink-orange color and had coconut in it, which made it taste more like a dessert due to its overwhelming sweetness. It had a paste-like consistency and tasted like a thick, sweet concoction that was unappealing. The lamb bhuna was just a mix of slightly fried onions with a little bit of meat—nothing else, really. We had to ask about the bill four times before it finally arrived, even though the restaurant was not even half full. I was hoping they would take a bit of extra time to serve us something special, especially since we were celebrating a birthday, but that was not the case. Overall, it was a really disappointing dining experience.

Another fantastic meal at Chili's! We can't wait for our next visit.

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Everything was impressive, and I have no complaints. I can't wait to return!
