Bleu Canoe Campground - Clarkesville

My fiance and I stayed here at the Burton Cabin for 2 nights and it was amazing! We live in South Florida and were looking for a quiet getaway where we can hike and where our phones have limited reception. This cabin was tastefully updated and had the essentials (charcoal grill, microwave, sink, coffee coffee pot, plates/dishes/ utensils, oranges and snack bars and plenty of towels! The bed was so comfortable and the cabin was super clean. We really enjoyed taking hot showers after a day of hiking and enjoying dinner on the porch in the quiet of the woods. The campgrounds has a fire pit that you can use and plenty of hiking near by! Just an FYI there is no heat/ac in this cabin as the listing says so be sure to bring extra blankets if it's going to be chilly : Unfortunately we were there on Monday and Tuesday so the restaurant was not open, but I heard the food is amazing and hope to visit again on a weekend! 5 stars to Bleu Canoe for an amazing cabin and property! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I had a private wedding ceremony in RI where we live. After we had super covid friendly reception at Bleu Canoe with our friends and family in GA. It was amazing! Delicious food. Amazing staff and service. Cozy tiny houses. Comfy beds. Clean, clean. Jim and Lee went above and beyond. It is an absolutely perfect way for anyone to spend some time in the mountains with a group of friends, solo or a little romantic getaway. We will be having more visits here!!

Attended a lovely Fall wedding dinner outside on the patio. The food was delicious. The renovation very well done. The attention to detail was thoughtful and evident in the service to the marshmallow smores fireside. Could not have been nicer for a very delightful couple.

Oysters were awesome! We enjoyed our visit so much! You must know where the place is though. But it's so worth it!

Awesome place to stay for a weekend get away. We stayed in one of the tiny house cabins and loved it. The on-site restaurant is really good as well.
