Blackstone's Café - Clarendon County

My 5 year old daughter and I had many breakfasts here, usually on Wednesdays before going to the Library. The staff always made us feel at home and the food was great. We moved away but we still talk about going to Blackstones — good memories, great people. We miss you all.

Absolutely a gem of a place for breakfast and lunch!! Great portions and friendly service. Each morning around 8am they ring a bell, and everyone who chooses to do so, stands and recites The Pledge of Allegiance! Less than a block from the river and shops along Bay Street! Pictures is the bacon and cheese omelette with full strips of bacon!!

Breakfast was absolutely delicious! And I truly appreciate how accommodating our server Skylar was to me since I've just had stomach surgery. Our new favorite breakfast spot!!!

Got food poisoning after having shrimp there. Tried to talk to someone in charge to ask how this could have happened Owners are very rude and disrespectful. Was cursed out by Lou the owner and then he hung up on me. Please beware. If you get sick there you will be insulted upon your inquiry. The waitress was nice though. Fun place, nice staff, outstanding variety and taste. Quality food with great shrimp gumbo. The shrimp burger was especially good. No one in our party was disappointed. Highly recommend.
