I recently enjoyed a lovely lunch with some old school friends, marking 50 years since our last visit to this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the varied menu, with each of us choosing something different and all of us being very satisfied with our choices. We also appreciated the senior discount that was available. The staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. The view of the marina was absolutely stunning, making it a beautiful place to visit in Hobart. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

On a lovely sunny sunny day, we thought this would be a great place to have a quickish lunch before going for a walk along the Bellerive esplanade. Over an hour later we were still waiting for a smoked salmon salad and smoked salmon pate!...Six people at the next table who 'd arrived about half an hour after us had already received cooked meals so we asked the waitress whether there was a problem with our lunch. When she investigated, it turned out there was 'I 'm sorry. The order did not go through. ' We eventually received our light lunch which was OK, but the 25% taken off our bill didn 't make us put the bistro on our 'repeat ' list.
