Bidra med feedbackThe mushroom quiche is full of flavor and the perfect portion for brunch. I really enjoyed the dressing on my salad as well. Husband loved his salmon tartine and the strong espresso. Thank you to the kind bakers who made a fresh baguette for us while we dined! It was so nice to have a hot baguette to take home. Will be returning again soon.
I'm a Claremont local, but I'm also getting more irritated with how everything costs more and the quality is less. I've never actually enjoyed my experience going to Le Pain, so I usually avoid it, but my partner likes it, so I go for her sake. That said, I suspect if this Le Pain didn't have its location, it probably wouldn't be in business. That's the good: great location and the servers are pretty attentive. For example, they brought water for my dog. Always a plus. The bad: it's so overpriced that it's comical. That little coffee had a $1 upcharge for hazelnut syrup, and $1 upcharge for oat milk (which were offered, but without the upcharge information). That's a 12 ounce iced drink for $7. I'm getting annoyed about it just writing this review. But then you add the tiny orange juice for $5, and it's just nickel and diming every customer for every little thing. (and for those thinking I ordered these drinks knowing about the prices I think we put the drink orders in before getting menus, a mistake that won't be repeated) If you're looking for a good breakfast place in Claremont, just go one block over to the Village Grill on Yale. I will keep trying to persuade my partner to give up on Le Pain.
The atmosphere is really nice I prefer inside more than outside cuz in summer time ? good but I don't drink coffee I ordered iced matcha latte that so good ?? Recommended to try ?
The food and drink is alright They have outdoor seating , its chill
I got the sunny side up breakfast bowl. It was tasty and healthy and a decent portion size. However, it was my first time having farro, and I learned that it's really not that filling. I *thought* the bowl would be super filling based on the size, but it was actually very light and I was left a tad hungry. Also, I really thought it needed sauce or something more wet than just the one yolk. All in all, healthy for sure, but a bit too light for the price. My husband got the avocado toast with added egg and salmon. He said it was really good! But the price was quite high, especially with the add-ons.
