Taberna Leandra - CIVITAVECCHIA

Looking for a place to have a cocktail before dinner we stumbled on this wonderful establishment. Sort of hard to find, but well worth it. It was a cool, crisp evening but the stars were out and the booze warmed us right up. VERY reasonable prices for liquor in Italy. The Negroni was superb and my friends Brandy Manhattan was Top Drawer according to him!

We arrived shortly before service started, while the patron was still enjoying a drink outside with his friends, but were immediately ushered indoors with a table set for us straightaway. We enjoyed a low key, relaxed meal among a strong friendship group of staff and locals who were all enjoying a TV channel like MTV: one of the women emerged from the kitchen to dance when ABBA came on! This restaurant caters much more for locals than tourists and our lack of Italian was a slight handicap.

I almost don't want to write the review for fear of more people learning about this place. Totally a spot dedicated to locals (as far as I can tell) rather than for the tourists. Loved it! Great wine, great atmosphere, very quiet outside, and good music inside. I was there on a Sunday night, and while it was quiet and low key I can't speak for what it's like on a Friday or Saturday. The service was excellent, and the bartender let me try as many wines as I wanted before I made my selection. The cost was outstandingly reasonable only 5 euro for the glass of wine and the apperitivo which was totally enough for one person, and an excellent presentation if I may add. I will definitely be going back here in the future. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Splendida posizione situata nel centro storico di Civitavecchia in una bella piazza. Diciamo che mangiare è buono, ma vorrei aggiungere un po 'di più al semplice cutter e troppo semplice. Bevi bene. personale cordiale, gentile e preparato, molto buona la bionda pelo corto che spiega i corsi. provare definitivamente. Bene.

Se ci fossero altre stelle. Io sceglierei tutti! una scoperta inaspettata e bella, ambiente piacevole e personale squisito! Torneremo sicuramente! Congratulazioni.
