I always want to have them at the weekend as they only have guacamole at the weekend, while the week they have tomato sauce. they are good with tomato sauce, but great with guacamole! two possibilities of pop, apple or coke. his hit or miss. as sometimes its packed, although they added a room with more tables.
Flautas are like a rolled taco that 's served with cream and avocado with a side salad. La Pila is one of the best flautas place in Juarez. They have been on the business for a long time. A good option to go eat in juarez
I am a huge fan of flautas, mainly because of this restaurant. These are literally the best flautas I've ever eaten, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are the best flautas in Ciudad Juarez, if not in the world! They have a great selection...of veggies to put on top of the flautas, which really adds something. On weekends, they have guacamole, on weekdays they have a tomato sauce to put on top. It can get very crowded, but you can get the flautas to go and they give you plenty of veggies and the sauce. Sometimes they will have mariachis playing music inside. It feels like a true Mexican experience. I've taken several guests to this location, and each of them loved it. The food is inexpensive, 1 order is about 20 pesos or so (I don't remember the exact price) and comes with 3 long flautas. If you eat them in the restaurant, they will cut them in half for you and you will have about 6 normalish size flautas in one order. I usually eat about two orders or less, though someone with a large appetite would probably need 3-4 orders, even with the veggies. It can be difficult to find if you're not familiar with the city, as google maps will not find it by the address. However, it is located on the corner of Pablo Sidar and Belisario Dominguez. It is located on the south side of Pablo Sidar. I've included a map with a red arrow showing where it is located, hopefully that will be acceptable for upload. If not, try going on Avenida de los Insurgentes toward the center of town, turn left once you get to a weird intersection with what appears to be two streets to the left, turn to the far left (not the diagonal street). Keep going straight for about 4 blocks, and turn to the right (the diagonal right that still continues south) and the restaurant will be on the left-hand corner of the next block. If you miss the turn, turn right on the 5th block (the extreme right) and you will still make it. It is definitely worth a visit, and I think you will find yourself going back for more!
