Benihana - Ciudad de Panama

Food is excellent and prepared at the table. Chef made a great show of it and kids loved it. The atmosphere has nothing to do with a nice Japanese restaurant. Very noisy. Looks like a factory canteen, Christmas music too loud. Can't even have a decent conversation.

Excellent Chef, but bad service. Sever was running up and down, never got it right. 1. No utensils, 2. No take out containers when asked,neither bags to carry the food out , 3- Refused to serve us our hot tea, that came with the hibachi trio meal . Spoken to the manager, about the bad service, but didn't care enough regarding his personnel,(but at least he said sorry). PLEASE SAVE AN AGGRAVATION AND EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE, there are so many good restaurants in Multiplaza, and in San Francisco. Learned my lesson, panamenian copycats are never good, I will keep my Benihana in Florida.

Food was good except we had some beef which was very tough and we sent it back, service was good, atmosphere could use some updating.

The performance was very good, but the food could use more seasoning. Even though there was no line on when we got there, we still waited about 10 minutes to be seated, 15 for our orders to be taken and another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. It was definitely an experience.

Benihana is always fun wherever you go. This one was nearly an identical experience to the ones I’ve been to in the USA. Delicious food, fun atmosphere, and talented chefs. We enjoyed it!
