Villa Real - Ciudad Acuña

It's good that they are remodeling because this place really need some upgrading. Honestly for the price they already charge the rooms should look more modern and clean. I gave 3 starts because of the breakfast servers, very friendly and attentive.

Nice clean room no loud noises comfy bed we where able to get a goodnights sleep. The free continental breakfast was a plus we will definitely stay here again.

The hotel took forever to clean out our room and get it ready, which itself would be fine if it weren’t for the fact that the hotel room was incredibly dirty when we arrived. Dirt on the bed and hair on the pillows. Another major downside was the unreliable internet.

Power went out during storm and it was hot all night. Would be ok it it had a backup generator.

The rooms where really run down the first night I stayed in a room with a king the bathroom was really clean but the headboard almost fell on us when we where sleeping. The staff was great the first night we no problem with reception and we where brought our extra pillows and blankets, we went and had dinner food was great other than the over salted beans. Now the second we transfered over to a deluxe room. The room was a bit better and clean. Everything was great with the day service and restaurant but come night time and the front desk receptionist Humberto was the absolutely worst people skills in the world!!!! We had got back from dinner and a movie and we needed some more pillows and blankets I made the call and the Humberto the front desk receptionist asks me why I needed another blanket and had no shame to ask me what my air-conditioned temperature was and to turn it up. The gaurd was a gentleman but Humberto was horrible I don't understand why he had the right to tell a paying guest to turn up my air-conditioned. I COMPLAINED ABOUT HIM THE FOLLOWING DAY TO THE DAY CREW. The following night the second night we got back from dinner and the church festivities it was a bit colder. So I called down to the front desk and the Guard had answered he was very polite and a gentleman he brought us another blanket and was very respectful. ABOUT 5 MIN LATER HUMBERTO CALLS ME AT MY ROOM AND DEMANDING WHY I HAD COMPLAINED ABOUT HIM AND WHY I LEFT A REPORT AGAINST HIM....... I'M SERIOUS A HELL this guy is the WORST the next day we checked out and went to La Finca best hotel in acuña by far clean rooms and very safe ur own garage too, only one way in and out and the staff and owner where very helpful. Hands down best place to stay at is LA finca
