Love this place. Probably best Mexican restaurant around. This is our fav place for Mexican fix!

Food was good but they only give you two tortillas with fajitas which is ridiculous to start with and claim small upcharge for 2 extra tortillas and then charge $2.00 making fajitas a $20 meal then they get nasty when you call them out on it.... they lost my business as a result

Combo with enchilada, chile relleno was good. Carne asada was super dry. Spicy Margarita was good. Upcharge for corn tortilla over flour is ridiculous.

Yesterday, July 8th ate at El Cubilete with a friend. Also, ordered take out. Started feeling very dizzy and nauseated about an hour after eating. Got sick several times and lasted many hrs. Called restaurant, as I knew it had to be that. My friend felt the same symptoms but she didn’t actually vomit. Manager seemed unsympathetic saying it can’t be the food that food poisoning doesn’t start until a day to 4 days later. Told her I was concerned for other customers. She just said she’d go back and check with the kitchen to make sure meat wasn’t just sitting around. Never offered a solution but said to contact my Doctor. Feeling better today.
