Essen Ny Deli - City of New York

We just made a sium/70th birthday party in the “back room” of Essen on Coney. Everything was PERFECT! The service was great (kudos to Eric Juliani the food outstanding! They worked with me on the menu, adding, (not even exchanging! when we discussed the different options. Everyone who came was very impressed with how beautiful and tasteful the whole evening was. We recommend highly!

Had lunch here with a coworker and accepted suggestion to have the turkey roast sandwich with rye bread and fries loved the amount of turkey in the sandwich (seriously around half a pound of turkey it was mainly turkey! and the softness of the rye bread other than that, the whole pickle appetizer was really good

Hot pastrami Rye or Club is a must cured to perfection! Side note Onion Rings batter whatever that was in a bowl are horrible bowl of batter please fix them with breadcrumb texture or take them off the menu it really killed what otherwise was delish

The lean pastrami is the best thing by far! I drive from Staten Island just to go to this place. AMAZING.
