Bidra med feedbackEvery once in a while we will treat ourselves for a walk down the street to grab some generously stuffed breakfast sandwiches. So many choices in that handwritten menu, but guanciale is a favorite. May as well pick up some of the tasty bits from the prepared food case meatballs, cauliflower, or swing back for the roast chicken.
After a long awaited trip to New York to eat one of my favorite sandwiches, I was a bit underwhelmed by this experience. The sauce was a bit on the sweeter side in the chicken parm sandwich takes away from the sandwich (agreeing with one of the other reviewers). I also got a mediocre croissant, which I didn?t eat more than a bite.
I?ve been here many times in the past few months and everything I?ve ordered has been delicious. Highly recommend the pesto pasta, eggplant parm (on weekends) and the smoked salmon egg sandwich. Definitely a highlight of the neighborhood and a kind staff.
Minimalistic Italian foods shop. The menu and food in the display case looked promising. I ordered a hero instead from the handwritten menu. There are a variety of egg sandwich options but I went the more classic route and opted for the chicken parmigiana. Service was quick and my order was ready within 10 minutes. The bread itself was good. However, as a whole, I?d say the chicken parmigiana sandwich was quite the opposite. Strangely, the sauce used for the sandwich was
Brancaccio?s is one of those places that will make you feel like a New Yorker. This small, Windsor Terrace staple serves up legendary food (including a meatball sandwich, for which they are known) in addition to some specialty groceries and I believe they also do catering. This generational eatery will not disappoint, as my partner and I regularly walk over to grab sandwiches before making another pit stop at Steeplechase next door for some coffee. This is one of my favorite
