Teresa's Mexican - City of Maple Grove

Very good place to eat just a few small details but nothing considerable

The food here is excellent! It tastes exactly like what I ate when visiting Mexico City. The mole is tasty and I love the street tacos. Also, churros. Everyone was very friendly. It wasn't that busy, but our server was a bit slow. The deliciousness of the food outweighs that, however. Maybe order two waters just in case.

HUGE portions of savory, fresh food. Full service bar. Nice assortment of beers on tap. Tasty authentic cooking in a modern nice dining area. Booths and tables available for all size lunch and dinner parties. Family friendly and good for date nights. Full menu of soooo many delicious options! We are repeat visitors several times each year. Yummy!

I've been going to Teresa's for years now, and I've generally liked their food. However, AVOID the Street Tacos. They are tasty, but I've gotten food poisoning from them 2 times now! The first time I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible stomach pain. This most recent time on April 9th I woke up that night with the worst stomach pain of my life and actually passed out from the pain. I don't know if the cooks in the back are cross contaminating or the onion/cilantro is old, but I guess if I return I'll make sure to get something fried with nothing fresh on it. Very disappointed at an otherwise good Mexican restaurant.
