The Mayor Of Scaredy Cat Town

Made a reservation to “see the mayor” with my friend and our two daughters who just turned 21. We all absolutely loved it! Such a different thing to do. The girls were v excited to walk through a fridge into a speakeasy! The staff were all warm and friendly, service was great, as were the cocktails and the fries! And the venue itself was super cool, intimate and had a great buzzy vibe. I also loved the old Smash Hits magazine pages on the bathroom walls! Would def return.

It was my first time there, celebrating my birthday. The host could not have been more gracious, welcoming, fun and patient with my many questions. I loved the whole vibe and environment, and the cocktails were DELICIOUS! I had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back!

This is a fun thing to do. Secret entry to a secret bar what’s not to love. Small snug venue with character. We went for a late lunch and drinks. The food menu is limited. The addition of loaded fries or something like that is needed. What we did eat was nice though. Cocktails are good and a large range of ones that are a bit different. Worth a visit

Always have a nice evening here. It’s exciting to go somewhere “different”. The staff are super friendly and it’s a nice experience for a special occasion. You do need to book in advance as it does get busy. Tables sittings are for an hour and a half so you can’t stay all night. However, there’s lots of other bars near by. Liverpool Street Station is a two minute walk. Cocktails are priced between £10-£15, a little expensive but probably standard for London these days.

What a great find. Called ahead to see if we would be able to get in to see the mayor . We were taken through the Smeg fridge door... so quircky!!! The service we received was absolutely fantastic from both the members of staff who looked after us during our time there. Fantastic choice of cocktails....so lovely to see some alternatives to the usual menus. My daughters Popcorn cocktail was so cool and the Tikki cocktail I had was one of thr best I have ever tasted. Thank you all for making my daughters birthday one she definitely won 't forget x
