Nice pub with friendly service, at the edges of soho by oxford circus station. dark, wooden interiors keep the classic feel of this Victorian pubs and the smaller rooms create cozy places for a few drinks with friends everywhere./ we ate in the palladian restaurant on the top floor, which has a cozy pub-like feeling, only with table service! the menu ranges from the standard buffer to burger and season to gastro-pub additions like baked camembert, gammon steak and cousin cuss salat. I was impressed by the amount of veggie options on the menu, also with veggie sausages!/ I had the smoked cheese, kartoffel and spinat cake (also with vegetarian suet that was delicious, and my friend veggie burger with guacamole and salsa also went a tasty! her skin-on chips are amazing seems to comment a little bit, but I think the standard of chips can say a lot about a pub.../ most are main thing to be for a central london pub with fresh, high-quality straightening is quite good daring!

Had this week-end booked a two-day stay for my man 60, we drove on Saturday to the london palladium, which was his birthday and since we had eaten in the argyll arms before we decided to book a table as it has to do. we were shown at our table (on the window) as asked when I booked it. I had mentioned when I had booked it for my nakedby's birthday, and we were brought out two glasses fizz, a beautiful surprise. hubby had the piemaic, I had the smoked salmon fishcake, both were nice, too full for dessert unfortunately. it is certainly worth visiting how much character has.

What an old traditional london pub. the decoration was wonderful and the beer and the staff also!

I booked the weekend in london for the birthday of my mannes. this pub was recommended by our friend so we decided to give an attempt. we arrived at the busy night and of course only week before Christmas was absolutely mental on the oxford road. we were great and shown to our table. within a few minutes our drinks arrived. I had the suppe of the day (winterplant I can only tell them how delicious this suppe was, simply amazing. my man had rib eyes steak perfectly cooked and I had nicely slowly cooked piece of bark meat that was divine! with roasted petersnip as chips (which I never thought I would try! but was so beautiful and crispy that I couldn't even say it was pasnip. we have to share with the desert. beautiful hot, rich chocolate brownie and ice cream. the institution of the pubs is amazing as back in the time, I loved it. the staff is helpful and friendly and very professional. they were so busy, but our waiter dusan still had time to stop with us and chat a bit what was sooo beautiful. we felt very welcome and looked around very well. we hope to see them again in our next visit! I would highly recommend this place.
