I ate at the old version for years and liked it. This new version is FANTASTIC!!!! The decor is simple and beautiful, small and so cozy. The staff are so welcoming and professional. The food is wonderful, fresh and tasting excellent... and the prices are of great value. Well done Spice of India! I would highly recommend this for people who like great food, in a spotless environment at reasonable prices. A best value in London for sure and so close to Lancaster Gate tube station. Go!!!!

Excellent. Our server and the rest of the staff were busy, frantic, and shorthanded...but they didn't let this affect the speed or quality of our meal. Our server was especially kind!

I have seen a few review sites say this restaurant is now closed. It is not. I spent the last two weeks(2019 09 07 to 09 22) in the UK and dined here 3 times. It was that good. All the positive reviews are spot on. The service and the food are the best. Hidden gem is right. If you are in London you have to go. Lancaster Gate station on the tube and a two minute walk. Worth your while.

Liked it a lot. Quite lot of choices for vegan. Delicious food, but remember, its spicy. The service was in high level. We've got warm wet towels after the dinner and nice small chocolates on the house. What is more, it is in a good location, near Kensington gardens. After we visited Peter Pens statue in Kensinton garden, was just two min walk. Prices are good! Only that 10% is already included in the bill. But i guess that is in most places here in London.
