Bidra med feedbackGone the way of everything that was ever good in Soho. Previously a perfectly serviceable curry in a handy location, but tried to visit last night and it 's boarded up, kaput, no more. Probably a jeans shop or a 'fashionable burger joint ' by the time you read this. RIP Raj.
This was a great place, very close to where we were staying so super convenient. We went in at an off time and while it wasn't very busy, service seemed a little slow since it wasn't crowded at all, we still had to wait a bit. But the food was great!
2nd time we have eaten here outstanding flavours. Chicken tikka and prawn puree for starters and tandoori chicken for main Tandoori king prawns not on the menu but upon asking the helpfull staff informed us could do and wow what a great dish best I have tasted. The vegetables and rice fantastic and the nan breads so light thought they were going to float away. A great little restaurant in Soho don't understand as to why some poor reviews. Going back again when next in London.
The popadom and pickles were delicious. The tandoori chicken starter was a bit a average. But the Rogan Josh and Pilau Rice were superb. Good service. Certainly not like the top end London Indian restaurants, but much better than average. Recommended
Sometimes, staying in London for a while and craving Indian food can be not so bad with a good mix of Indian restaurants available. The Vindaloo curry was the best that I have ever tasted, lovely Traditional Vindaloo Curry, Tandoori King Prawns tasty full of flavour with fantastic white onions. Biryani was excellent and spicy.
